My lovely weekend

Hellooooooooo!

My weekend was very, very good!!

Well, the last week wasn't easy, therefore, I decided to spend my weekend with myself! I made a lot of things that I like and that I know that make me happy!

On Saturday, I went to Halloween Party at school with my friends, and it was very funny, because I could dress up, dance, sing, eat and laugh a lot!

On Sunday, I went to the cinema with my friends and watched "Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children" and I really like this film. After that, we could take a walk around the mall and eat something. 

Well, I love my weekend and I hope the next weekends can be as fun as this.

Hard Week

Last week was very hard time to me, because we had a lot of tests, like math, portuguese, chemistry, phusycs and biology. 

This week, I coudn't sleep enough or make something that I'd enjoy, like seeing my tv series, reading a book and spending time with my friends, because I stayed very worried with everything that I needed to do. 

Buuuuuuut, although the tests haven't finished yet, the worst week (in my opinion) is finally over, and now I can feel myself lighter.

I spent the weekend (29-30) doing everything that I had no time to do. I started two new series, Black Mirror and How to get away with murder.  The first just watched 6 episodes but lack little to end because the series has only 13 episodes. The second I watched 10 episodes on Sunday, the series is very addictive and makes you want to watch forever.

Saturday was Halloween party, I was discouraged and I did not stayed until the end but the costumes were very nice, some were very funny.

This weekend was quiet because I did not have to study much, therefore I took the opportunity to rest and watch series.

The days 22 and 23 were boring. I spent the weekend doing activities and studying because during the week I would make a biology test and P.A of mathematics and natural. The last week had tiring because we were doing the Instagram about Bertioga, and did not yield to rest at the weekend because I needed to study.

Relaxation time

It's been a long time that I didn’t take time just for me, not not for lack of will, but for lack of time, it was exam week, but sunday I decided to do something I like. I went to the lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas, there I attended a functional circuit, it was very tasty, I loved, because it was time that I had no physical activity. After the circuit, Joana teacher made a moment of relaxation, which was very very very good. Then I also ran a bit and finally enjoyed the view and the location. It was an amazing morning because I could feel my body and do something I love, for me I would do it every day, but my routine doesn’t allow.

How the english is important

The english is to much importante for your life, because put you forward of meny people like: when you are looking for a job, when you want to go to exchanging program, stuff like that!!

So look for a place for you learn, if you don’t have time, learn when you listen music, learn when you are watching series... you have just to put in english with subtitle!!

Delays

I will talk about delays and how they are bad, because i’m late in post something here in this blog!! I’m so sorry, but I will post every week now! I promise!

Delays cause many thing in your life like: bad grades, don’t get a job, hurt someone that you love... so don’t be late in any situation, because it will bring a bad thing to you and still run the risk of hurting someone.

Surf

I will talk about surf, because it’s my dream pretice it. If you want to practice, you have to be balanced, but in my case I’m skateboarder, so it will easier to me. If you don’t know, Brasil has two men, Medina and Mineirinho were the best of world’s in 2015 and 2016.

Bertioga

I will talk about Bertioga in this paragraph, because it was amazing!!

There we know a lot of things, about whales, about the city and the best thing for me was the visit the indigenous tribe, because I learned a lot and I was trained to be a warrior...

House’s Tournament

The house’s tournament was really good, but Aureum didn’t win, Esparta won.

The best thing that happened in the House’s Tournament for me was palying Handball with my godson Miguel, better known as Japa, because after the two games, he holded me and said that I were a pride for him, and for me, I won the house’s tournament after he said it!!!

School's Halloween

I didn't have costume for Halloween. But, my roommates were costumed. One of my roommates was a fairy and I didn't understand the fantasy of another roommate.

Well, I wasn't long time at the party because I wasn't very happy. I ate in the restaurant and I went to help a friend in a homework.

After that, I went to my room.
It was a very cool day.

This is my older son and His girlfriend, Adriana. She has a son who is 1,7 years old. So, now I am a foster grandmother.

This is Thomaz, my foster grandson. He's really cute and has got a lot of energy. He was visiting us this weekend.

However, this weekend I watched several episodes of Scorpion. I just love this Series. It is not so violent as some ohers I had been wacthing. I started to watch after a student suggested me. It was the best suggestion ever.
It is about 4 geniuses, each in a different aspect, that help the Government to solve some problems. It is worth watching.

Last week was the week of the holidays, I used to sleep a lot and put my series on time. A very special holiday this week, was Children's Day, it happened on October 12. The school provided many activities to commemorate this day, for example, soap football amused many people and made the day of several children better.

Last week came the "Houses Tournament" which is a competition where the school is divided into three teams: Esparta, Aureum and Olimpo. These three teams perform several sets of several sports categories and at the end add up the points and declare the winner. This year the winning team was Esparta who earned enough to make a great performance and all its members dedicate themselves to the maximum for that.

This weekend I had the honor of crismar me on 23 October. The crismar, or confirmation is the sacrament in which the baptized is strengthened by the gift of the Holy Spirit. In Catholic received the Holy Spirit in Baptism, but their gifts received in Confirmation. The gifts are:

• Don wisdom;
• Don intelligence;
• Don fortress;
• Don's advice;
• Don understanding;
• Don pity;
• Don the fear of God.

I was prepared from 2015 until this weekend to receive this sacrament, and I was privileged to be a good person as a sponsor since you need one to crismar. With all this, I am very happy to have confirmed me, to have a good sponsor and have shown a detail of the Roman Catholic religion.

This weekend took place the commemorative celebration of Halloween which is celebrated every year on 31 October. It is performed in most Western countries, but mostly in the United States. Here at the School SESC, the party takes place on Saturday nearer the day 31/10 being planned by the English team.
The history of this date has more than 2500 years. It came up with the Celtic people who believed that at the end of spring the spirits leave the cemetery to scare the living.
Halloween in Brazil began when Americans began to influence the Brazilian showing their culture on TV. Many find cool the festive date, but others say that has nothing to do with our culture as talk that Brazil has a rich folklore and it should be more valued.

Hard Week

Last week was very difficult. But, it was also very good.

Monday: I did a math test.

Wednesday: In the morning I had a biology test. It was easy, but I was sleepy. In the afternoon I read "Dom Casmurro" because, on Thursday...

Thursday: I did portuguese test. The test was also easy, but was a redation and I'm not very good.

Friday: I did a biology, chemistry and physics. This test was big and I couldn't finish.

So, this eewk was very hard, but somethings make me happy. I i,ke playing piano when I'm tired, so this week I played quite. Walk with my godchildren make me happy too, and today is the birthday of my godson Arthur and I had breakfast with him and gave him a gift.

Halloween Party!

Halloween is celebrates on 31th, but this year the Halloween's party happened yesterday! In Brazil, we don't have the custom of celebrate the halloween, wear a costume, eat candy, etc. But most of the language schools always does a party and at ESEM the English Teachers gave the best of themselves to us can experience a party so fun! I really like the Halloween. I love think about a nice costume, eat candy and sing the music "This is Halloween" (from "The night before Christmas) with my friend Ana (she likes Halloweens more than I). This year, I was a  Scary Clown and I complete my costume with a board with this words "I enliven children's parties". I won as the best characterization. It was a wonderful party!

List weekend I was too free so I was in the bedroom for a few time, I was quiet then decide to watch American Horror Storys with Paul then stayed all afternoon.On sunday I didn't do anything important then slept for a long time, this was my weekend

Last Sunday, I visited the Botanical Garden, Henrique, Mayara and some friends were with me. we took several pictures. the place is amazing and enormous it's funny to think that once belonged to just one family. I indicate for visitation, it is one of the nicest places I visited here in Rio. :)))

Hey, everyone!

I had a wonderful weekend. It was tiring, but it was awesome.
I had a great ride to Além Paraíba. There were 10 motorcycles and one car. We were there so as to help a motorcycle event. We had a lot of fun and our group was also honored, since we donate some money to hire one of the bands of the event. We had lots to eat and also danced a lot, too. It took us 4 hours to get there, as we have to stop more often.

I and Lucifer (the devil)

This week I discovered that the second season of Lucifer had started. I stayed very happy, because Lucifer is the best series and in the second season would have the participation of “God’s woman”. Besides that, the series has many moments of good music, in which Lucifer play and sing classics of music in the piano. So, Lucifer is a series that has good music, pretty clothes, a female God, beautiful peoples and an amazing plot (in the beginning... the angel Lucifer was cast out of heaven and condemned to rule hell for all eternity. Until he decided to take a vacation… (In Los Angeles)). So, to finish: I love Lucifer.

Art

I love art, all kinds of expression, dance, painting, theater and music, I have done all this class, but lately I'm not very attached to art. This week happened here at school, an art event the "PERIFERICO" I attended some workshops, I learned how to print a photo in a glass, it was very cool, I was also invited to participate in workshop body paint, I accepted right away. I thought it would be something subtle, not the whole body, but it was wonderful. It was an experience that made me feel more and understand my body and the result was sensational. obs; the paint and body cream and pigment, my body was super hydrated hahah.

This week had 3 holidays, so I used it to studed a lot, cause next week there are test, works and text to do, so I was so busy in last week, and them I stay a little chilld out or not. I don’t but with all holidays in last week, I feel a little lost in relation of class and  works, I don’t know why, just happened.

Children's Day and holidays
On the children there were several games and delicious sweets. On holidays I went to the pool, played football and slept enough. Anyway, it was not a very busy holiday in sesc school.

Children's Day:
on Children's Day morning my Senac conducted an party for children at an institution, I was helping with the group of the youngest, and had a 5 year old girl who got attached much to me, she started crying when I left near when I came to pick her up, she did not want to let me, we together a while, then she started calling me mother.

Tournament houses This weekend was the tournament of the houses, I love the tournament, we feel something inexplicable in it. My house managed to win this time and I am very happy about it. In the same weekend also took place the ball, which by the way was very good and met friends who had not seen a long time.

I'm not very involved in the tournament, but much like the "Baile", this year was really cool because I was with my friend and Ex student, her godfather.
in the middle of the party I began to remember that this ending up year and she will graduate, I was very sad and started to cry, then laugh at the situation and went dancing....

Summer

I love summer, because I can go pool, beach and getting tanned. However, I hate heat, yes, yes, I’m contradictory. Summer only good when I can enjoy cool off. I like summer it a bearable temperature, but in Rio de Janeiro doesn't exist bearable temperature and I can never enjoy the sun in Rio, it is frustrating. I also like the summer time, because as darkens later, I feel like my day surrender more. Who knows my day yielding more I can take a little sun.

A special day!

In Brazil, we celebrate the Children Day in October 12th. So, last wednesday we had some different activities in the school like "soap soccer", a special snack and many candies (I really LOVE candies!). It was very funny! But the best part of the day was spend time with my cutest friend Mavi, the most beautiful girl in this class (she paid me to write that haha). Me and Mavi wacthed movies, ate pop corn and made "brigadeiro". We watched High School Musical 1 and 2, because Mavi wanted see again and sing the songs. It was hilarious! I really like this movie, but the best moment was Mavi singing. I'll never forget this day!

Holiday

Well teacher, I just sleep, did some work and the best (tchantchantchannnnnnnnnnnnnn) I  READ THE BEST WORLD BOOK, IT IS INCREDIBLE. It is about a girl who writes to Mr. Harris that on death row, she tells him all her love story. It is a wonderful story. I cried a lot at the end.

Houses tournament

Last weekend, there was the houses tournament here. I like so much but It was not better than the last year's tournament. The best moment of the tournament was the prom. I went to the prom with tarcisio and we danced and sang and smiled a lot.

I thinked they deserved to win, athough any possibles faults, they deserved, cause they haven won matches a lot, so I don’t  think they cheated.

OMG, I loved him, cause was so beautiful and magic, everyone forgeted what happened in the afternoon and everybody was happy, me included, I went to prom with Mitcheli and we danced a lot and talked a lot, it’s so better than the last year, in my opinion.

Holidays

Oh, this week was very good! We had a lot of holidays and we could breath a little bit before the tests begin. 

Although we had a lot of things to do, like homeworks and tests, I had a lot of fun  this week, because I saw movies, Tv series, went to the pool, played some games and spent time with my friends. It was amazing and a little bit lazy, I must admit hahahahaha.

Houses Tournament

In the last weekend, there was the Houses Tournament here, in the school.

We passed three days in a competition between the three floors. It was so amazing, exciting and funny. We shouted, cheered and played a lot.

To finish that, we ate hamburgers, and it was so delicious.

LAST WEEK

HOUSES TOURNAMENT

The hauses tournament ended. The House Olimpo didn't won, but was a amazing experience. in the last year we Were champions, but the tournament of this year was much better. I played three sports: Race of 1500 meters, soccer and volleyball. We won the race and volleyball. The soccer, The house Esparta won. 

THE RACE

The race was much very important to me, because I was the captain of the race. I knew I would not win and thereupon I wanted to stay in secund. And was this that happened. Was amazing to see the peoples stimulating me during the 1500 meters. I'm very happy about it.

The fans was amazing. We singing loud, celebrating, was a amazing phenomenon.

In the end, we were not champions, but was a amazing tounament.

Children's Day

On Wednesday, the course of Recreation organized a day for children together with student volunteers. We receive children from ONGs and children of school staff. 

In the first part of the morning, the children were divided into groups according to their ages. I was with the group of children of 4 and 5 years. Because they are very small, some want to stay close to family members who were present, so we had a little trouble at first. 

In the second part of the morning we had a snack with the kids. Some children ate little, but all ate something. We did blackmail saying "It will only make sweet who eat everything".

In the third part of the morning, we took all the kids to watch a magic show. They interacted well and they stayed very excited about the magic. At the end of the show, we deliver bags with sweets for the children. 

It was a great day, the kids were very cute.

In the days 8, 9 and 10 of October, an event happened in ESEM.  This event is called “Torneio das Casas” that is based on different games as volleyball, handball, soccer, basketball, among others. It is one of the most anticipated events of the year.  The games are played by houses that are separated by floor.  I live on the third floor, therefore, I’m Olympian. The tournament was created to approach and amuse students. This year, who won the tournament was Sparta, the house Olympus stayed second and the Aureum in third.

On the night of the 9th, we participate of a winter prom, which it is a party organized by the school to entertain students.  The school hired a band to play during the party. The party was very good but ended earlier than last year.

The magician stole my watch

The day 12 October this month (children's day) there was an event in my school where several children came to play and have a different day. There was a lot of games, but most of the kids wanted to play football. I wanted to help, so, I was scheduled to work on the football field with other people who were also there to help. It was 9:00 am, it was very hot and the Sun burned my head. But then, we took them to eat and after that, they saw a magic show. Getting there, me and my friends got near the kids and at one moment the magician made a break and that was when the kids started to run and no one could make them quiet. Kkkkkk so the magician called me and said that I was supposed to help him in a trick for my friends. He gave me a ball in my hand and at the end there were two balls in one hand and nothing in the other. So, I sat down and he went back to the stage. Suddenly he started to offer a watch that I had not recognized because I'm nearsighted. Then, he asked me what time it was and I looked to my clock and it wasn't on my arm. In the end, the wizard asked me to pick it up. I was stunned and confused.

Tournament houses

Many will talk of the tournament excitement, the games, the victories, the defeats, the impartiality, but I will talk about the reencounter. The tournament for me this year was to kill the homesickness, counted the days for to see my bridesmaids. Were only three days, but were best three days, because I  have seen and embraced so many people, no matter the house. I talked very about  how to return or not return home. In this picture are the residents of 312, but  lacked a basically each room  in the picture, one because we didn’t find, others because they didn’t come. This picture is represented four generations of 312.

Bertioga !!

Day 1:

27/09/2016 – arrived.

In the mornig (6 o’clock) we get out of school and after 7 hours of travel we arrived at Sesc Bertioga. Over there, upon arrival, we went to lunch and them we did knew the sesc and him rooms, OMG, it was so amazing room, I love it, and them we went to dinner that was so tasty <3

At night we had a lecture about photography with Du Zuppani who was a renowned photographer, he taught us like a profissional photographer and them we went to a little sesc’s partie, was a liitle boring, but  beautiful.

Day 2 :

28/09/2016 - knowing other cultures.

In the mornig we get up early to go to a Indian tribe, oh my god, I really loved that, because I never knew a indian tribe and I loved each detail, they were very good person and over there they had a beautiful culture, there is childrens, teenagers, adults and elderly.

We participated of some dances and We knew some rituals as a warrior’s dance for example.

In the afternoon, we had a free time to did anythings what we wont, I went to pool with mayara and we joke a lot, it was so funny.

Day 3 :

29/09/2016 – Water trail.

 In begin of day we waked up early to went to water trail and after we went to city.

They telled to us that over there are mosquitos a lot, but, I can’t felt this, when we arrived at the top we found a waterfall so cold, OMG , the guilding telled to us that the water was 12°, but, althoug the water freeze my body, I love that place.

In the afternoon, we went to the Bertioga’s city and we knew the Fort St. John that was built in in 1563 by indian and jesuits. After we went to fort we eated churros and OMG this was so BIG and tasty <3 <3 I love it.

Day 4 :

30/09/2016- parting.

This day was so sad, because we needed leave that place, but we can did this with joy and after 7 hours and 30 minutes we arrived at ESEM.

This week we went to bertioga in sao paulo.
On the first day, we know the hotel itself and how it worked.
On the second day we met an Indian tribe, learned many things with them, including a very tiring and difficult dance.
On the third day we made a Trina of 7 km and then we went to the waterfall that was very cold and in the afternoon met the bones of a whale and a strong track record that is there bertioga and then eat cake.

In the last week I went to bertioga a small city in the north coast of São Paulo. We went with the school to do a lot of cool things like, go to a track and swimming in waterfal, we also went to an indian tribe and participed of the rituals.
It was amazing, I'm missing so much.

about one of the better days of my life:
Bertioga we visited an Indian village, the Guarani village, we know it very special people, people with a completely different world view from ours. this visit, no doubts, was very special for all of us because we had the opportunity to learn many things and share many experiences with them. all the Indians welcomed us very well, even with the difficulty of the language, were affectionate and showed us many things about their daily lives, their beliefs and customs.
